HEL Abrasion Resistant Heat Shrink Sleeve 35mm Inside Diameter (17.5mm Shrunk)

The HEL Performance abrasion sleeving has been designed and manufactured to offer ultimate safeguarding for fuel lines, coolant hoses, wiring looms and other critical components against abrasion in the motorsport and automotive industry. Even in the harshest conditions, this sleeving guards against abrasion, chafing, and continuous contact, all while enduring engine vibrations and challenging environments.

Installing our abrasion sleeving is a breeze. Simply apply heat using a heat gun, allowing the sleeve to contract tightly around your hoses and wiring looms, creating a snug and secure fit. For optimal results, maintain a recommended distance of approximately 50mm (2") from the outside of the sleeving while evenly covering its length. Our sleeving features a low shrink temperature of 110°C (230°F), making it suitable for fragile and heat-sensitive components.

Featuring a 2:1 shrink ratio, our sleeve reduces to half of its original diameter when exposed to the appropriate heat. For instance, if the internal diameter of the sleeve starts at 20mm (0.78"), it will shrink down to 10mm (0.39") when heated.

Prior to installation, our abrasion sleeving can be easily trimmed with scissors or a sharp blade. It's important to note that our sleeving is non-adhesive, so if you need to remove any sleeving that has been heat-shrunk onto a component, carefully make a precise lengthwise incision along the sleeving using a sharp blade. Be mindful not to damage the underlying components. Once the incision is made, you can gently peel away the sleeving.
